mom.

My mom is doing pretty good, as good as you can be while you are fighing a ugly thing in your body. She is on Chemo, and goes in 5 days a week at Cancer care for Radation. She has started to lose her hair, which is tough and makes it more of a reality but when it comes down to it, its just hair! She is one strong woman! I think I would cry for hours upon hours if I was going to lose my hair. But she is remaining positive and talks about all the scarves that she is going  to wear. The hair will probably not grow back. It will be a constant reminder of how strong she is and how she got through this valley in her life. I am very PROUD to call her my mom. After she is done radation and chemo, it will take up to 6-8 weeks to know if it is working, they they will probably do another round. I don't really understand it all, it is hard to explain. When the radation tech explained it to us, it was hard to understand.

We had the honor to go with my mom and dad to go and see the radation get done. And I gotta say the stuff that they can do today is AMAZING! I saw LIVE pictures of my mom's skull, and saw the radation do it's work. They are amazing people at Cancer Care, they answered our 1000 questions we had, and did it with such patience. I think for me going and seeing brought lots of acceptance and peace. To know that they are trying they're best and that they are on your side brings alot of peace and confindence!

I hear SO much negative talk about our health care system, doctors and nurses, and honestly I am getting so SICK of it! Lets be happy that we live in a country where the health care is free and where there are doctors and nurses willing to take care of you, and yes they will make mistakes they are human like EVERBODY ELSE! I am happy that we have "free" health care. I looked at my mom's meds and saw the price of it and there is NO way that a middle class family could afford something like that. Even her surgery, my mom and auntie figured out that if this surgery was in the states it would have costed them 100,000 $! Crazy! Makes me VERY thankful! I think people need to focus more on the good then the bad ALL the time. Anyways, I needed to rant about that!

Sorry to all the friends and family that have been checking on this to see updates. I haven't really had the time to sit down and update it since Hayden lately doesn't like to nap, but now he is napping once again and I will hopefully have more time to get things like this done! Thank you for all the prayers and support! Please keep it coming, this journey is not done.

Our life in Pictures...

We went for a bonfire to Uncle Randy and Auntie Jaime's house! We brought his pool along to keep him distracted from the hot fire!

Running around! One of his favorite things to do! :)

Jaime and Adrian...

We bought Hayden his own Sesame Street chair! He loves it! He climbs on it more then he actually sits on it!

Helping daddy make his chalkboard wall! He loves it! We color on it EVERY day!
Lately we have been praticing writing his name and singing the ABC's. Hayden has the tune down pacted and "A", "D" and "E" but that is pretty much it!

Lazy and rainy day!

Having some fun with mommy and her Ipod!

There was a couple of weeks where it was SUPER hot and this is how he liked to cool off!

Crazy family!

Ready to go to Music on Main and FIREWORKS!!

Adrian and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary this year! We spent the day in the city shopping, eating, and caught a movie! It was alot of fun! I hope to have many more years with this man!

My mom came out for the weekend! It was alot of fun and so relaxing! Hayden was distracted by the Olympic opening cermonies on TV.

DUDE!

There was one day where Hayden was EXTREMELY irriated! And I could not figure out what was wrong till I look inside his mouth! He had 2 molars, and one of his bottom front teeth coming in! He ate lots of popsicles, pudding and yougurt that day!

Happy, Happy, Happy!

Life has been busy, I feel like I say that alot! But honestly it has been! Our deck is ALMOST finished! One more railing on the other set of stairs and then it will be DONE! Our grass in our front yard is growing in really nice!

I LOVE our front yard! The willow trees are SO beautiful!
Our back yard we didn't really touch this year. We did put some red mulch beside our driveway because we were tired of weeding it everyday, but the other then that we decided to finish that next year!
