IT'S A...

BOY!!

We found out awhile ago what we were having, and was very set at first on NOT telling anyone! But the more we thought about it the more it changed our minds!

We feel VERY connected with this baby, not that we didn't with Hayden but knowing what this baby is brings on a whole new connection! We have started calling him by his name, starting talking to Hayden about his little brother, we started talking to him and using his name, its super special! And that is why we decided to tell family and friends in the hopes that they will feel the same connection, and feel like they know him when he comes, if that makes any sense!?

His name will be...

William Anders

We talked about the name William when I was pregnant with Hayden but decided not to because I already had a cousin named William. So, when we found out that this one was a boy the first name Adrian thought of was WILLIAM! And, again I said no, because of my cousin. But after alot of thinking and talking to my auntie and asking her "permission" we decided to go for it! Anders is the lead singer of Adrian's favorite band, and he just loves that name, and now I love it to (at first I hated it)!

With Hayden we were VERY private, we didn't know what he was, nor did we tell lots of people what our name plans were. With this one we feel different! Now that we know, we are NOT stressed out as much! When we found out we were pregnant the first thing that came to mind was "YAY! maybe it will be a girl". But where is all the money going to come for clothes and other things, since alot of the toys and clothes are ALL boy!! Get where I am going? It was stressful! We now feel better that we know, and I am excited to decorate a nursery knowing what we are having! It's fun!

Anways... I wasn't going to blog about this for awhile yet, but I couldn't keep quiet!

27 Weeks!

I decided that I am not going to do pregnancy updates EVERY week, alot of times not much has changed and I am finding it hard to find time to do them!

Anyways, I am now 27 weeks! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone! With Hayden it just seemed to DRAG on forever and ever! With this pregancy it is the opposite, it is FLYING by! With Hayden I had everything done and ready for him to come home in Janurary (he was due in March), with this one I do NOT feel prepared at all! Maybe that will change after a shopping trip to IKEA this Saturday! :)

We FINALLY got the baby's dresser this weekend, we went to the Riverton Thrift Store and picked up the only dresser that they had. I wouldn't say it was my DREAM dresser that I wanted for the baby but we don't have the time or money to diddle around looking for one! Adrian painted it white to go with the theme grey and white, and now I am starting to love it more. I will need to post pictures when it is completely done.

Size of Baby: The baby is the size of a cucumber. It is 15 inches and weighs about 2.5 pounds! I can feel it getting bigger, everytime I go for a walk or do errands I feel like so unbalanced and that I am going to fall over.

My Body: Like I said, I feel unbalanced, and with that I also get dizzy because I constantly feel like I am leaning forward. Part of me thinks that I am bigger with this one than I was with Hayden. I will have to dig up some pictures, and compare.

27 weeks with Hayden!

27 weeks now.

Not sure if it is the angle but I think I am bigger with this one! I had to take a selfie because Adrian is at work, and I tried to explain to Hayden how to take a picture, it didn't work! You be the judge, I feel bigger with this one!

Other then feeling kinda big and lopsided, I feel pretty good! Hayden keeps me busy enough that when there are days I feel like junk I can't just sit around and think about it, I have to keep going!

Cravings: Oranges, oreos and peanut butter, ice cream and blueberries!

Adrian was gone to the Leaf game, and I tried so hard not to give into this craving but I felt sorry for myself and went to get Oreos! Hayden and I had a good evening! MY BAD!

Movements: Still alot of movement, but not as much as I am used to. Maybe the baby is running outta room! The baby has had the hiccups pretty much all day today! And lately I have noticed that when the baby moves I get nausea and feel like I am going to throw up! Not fun!

The Inside Story: The baby's taste buds are very developed! The baby can taste what I am eating, and will most likely favorite the foods that I ate! Which makes me think, that I need to eat more veggies if I want this kid to eat thier veggies!

And that is about it, like I said I think I will only update about my pregnancy when I have time, which means probably not every week! I have LOTS to do before the baby comes, including weaning Hayden off the bottle and maybe start potty training soon! YIKES! Wish me luck!

Nesting & Etsy Purchases/Wishlist!

Nesting (according to Wikipedia): In human females, the nesting instinct often occurs around the fifth month of pregnancy, but can occur as late as the eighth, or not at all. It may be strongest just before the onset of labor.
It is commonly characterized by a strong urge to clean and organize one's home and is one reason why couples who are expecting a baby often reorganize, arrange, and clean the house and surroundings.

And in my case nesting also includes the urge to SHOP! I DID not have this with Hayden, and usually I am not a big fan of shopping (well, it all depends where, and for what). Anyways, this week I had big time urges to shop for the baby and also for Adrian and Hayden! So, I logged onto ETSY and scoured for things that will ONLY be useful. I got Adrian a couple of things for Father's Day, which in my opinion are the best gifts that I EVER gotten him! I would love to post pictures of the gifts I got him, but he reads this blog (sorry babe). And for Hayden I just got a little thing for his hospital bag (not to mention I have tons of things in my cart that I wanna get him for his hospital bag, but we are on a budget! lol) I also got a car seat cover thing for the baby, its not really neutral friendly, but honestly when Adrian and I saw this we could NOT pass it up!

Baby Car Seat Cover Star Wars

Its STAR WARS!! Now you can see why Adrian did NOT wanna pass this up! If it's a girl, poor girl!

Crayon Roll Up with 8 Crayola Crayons and Paper Pad -Groovy Guitars Blue - Ready to Ship

And this little thing for Hayden! I was going to sew one, but I never get to Winnipeg and the fabric store here doesn't have the coolest fabric so I decided to buy one! I think it will go good for his hospital bag when the time comes. Trying to find things that will distract him, and keep him quiet because if I do go into labor during the day we would like it if Hayden is there (not in the delivery room, but in the waiting room or in Selkirk), that way he can be the FIRST to meet the baby.

I really wish I could put Adrian's gift's up here since that was the majority of my purchases and it is such a KICK ass gift! Honestly, I am SO excited to give it to him. I will have to write a post about it on Father's Day!

And the following is a little bit of what's in my cart... (there is way to many things to put all of it up, and half the stuff I probably won't buy, but a girl can dream!)
Washi Tape: On the Road

I found this Washi Tape that I wanna get for Hayden, then get a huge cardboard box and make a little town for him! (Thanks Pintrest!)

Baby Boy Sweater Onesie Preppy Modern look

This comes in Hayden's size and would love to get him one, but it would probably be VERY easy to sew!
Camouflage Duck Call Hunting Long Sleeve Onesie with Camo Baby Leg Warmers

If we have a boy, I think this will be the first thing I buy him! SO CUTE! And it doesn't help that Adrian and I are HUGE Duck Dynasty fans, and this SCREAMS Duck Dynasty!

Camo Tie Onesie with Suspenders- Camo Tie- Real Tree Tie- Camo Tie Onesie- Real Tree Tie Onesie- Boy Onesie- Baby Onesie- Baby Camo Onesie

This one too!

Whos Your Daddy Star Wars Onesie baby bodysuit

This one comes in different colors, so if it is a girl I would get in pink!

Baby Boy Onesie with Tie and Suspenders - Photo Prop - Infant Onesie - Holiday

I would also like to get this for Hayden! Again, probably easy to sew yourself, but when you live in no mans land your resources are limited! :)

Dinosaur Hoodie with Multi-Color spikes : hooded sweatshirt with many color dino spikes

Such a cute sweater! And I can totally hear Hayden running around RAWRing at everyone!

This week the whole stage of nesting has come like a roaring lion! I washed and organized all the neutral baby clothes, organized all of Hayden's clothes, and cleaned out "junk" and Adrian had the joy of bringing lots to the support stuff! The spare bedroom is pretty much all cleaned up besides all the baby stuff that needs to put in its place. I organized books, toys, and Hayden's closet. FUN STUFF! And this weekend Adrian FINALLY has it off including Friday, so we are going to the thrift store to hopefully find some furniture for the baby. And if we do then we will refinish it Saturday and Sunday. I would love to get that room done by the end of this month, I am making that my monthly goal. I know, I know I have LOTS of time but soon I will start getting bigger and I would love to have the last few months where I can TOTALLY concentrate on Hayden, cause soon he won't be the only baby in the house. Kinda makes me sad, I am sure second time mom's will understand that feeling (that's a whole other blog post).

Anyways, Hayden is napping so I should take advantage of that and read or catch a couple of zzz's. Oh, one more thing Hayden slept past seven this morning! YAY! We slept in!
