16 weeks!

Size of Baby:

The baby is the size of a Avocado! And the weight is 5 ounces!

My Body:

Not much changes from last week! Still feel the same, although I have felt a little more energetic, hopefully that will stay for awhile I have lots to do!

Cravings:

I still haven't had any crazy cravings. This weekend I craved smoothies and those swiss cheese crackers, and crackers and cheese! Alot of dairy! Which kinda sucks because I think I might have a slight case of Lactose Intolernce! But since I have been pregnant, it has not been that bad!

Movement:

Is still feel these flutters, but I don't know if it is my imaganation or if it is the real thing.

The Inside Story:

The baby's muscles and bones are all in place and it's nervous system is starting to exert control. The baby is attached to the placenta by his lifeline which is the umbilical cord and the cord is growing stronger and thicker as the baby's needs increase. Blood is pulsing through the cord which brings nutrients to the baby and helping to remove the toxinx from the amniotic fluid, which fills the baby's trachea each time the baby opens it's mouth. The placenta has grown too. It has grown because it has to accommodate the 1000's of blood vessels that are working hard to exchange nutrients and oxygen between your body and the baby's!

I cannot believe that a little miracle is growing inside of me! When I was pregnant with Hayden I thought I don't know if I could ever be pregnant again because all my love will be gone because of the amount of love I had for Hayden! But that is not true, the love I have for this child is the same as I had for Hayden!

Nursery Ideas!

I cannot wait to make the spare bedroom into the nursery! When we first had Hayden we lived in a rental home and we didn't do anything special for his room and then when we bought a house he was already old enough to make a toddler room. So, I feel like I never had a chance to make a nursery! If that makes any sense! And with Hayden I also didn't have Pintrest!

We plan on NOT finding out what we are having therefore we need to make the nursery gender neutral. We decided to do a grey and white theme, and if we have a boy we will do light blue accents and if we have a girl then we will do pink accents!

We finally started to clean the room out, till now that room was half a office, craft room, library and storage! It was a EVERYTHING room!

The following are pictures and ideas that I found on Pintrest!

These are the colors that we are doing, and we will be doing one wall with stripes! Apprently it's not that hard! HA we will see on that!

I would like to do this in both the kids room! So cute and easy!

This is what I mean by the pink accents, couldn't find one for the boy if it is a boy. Cute eh?

I love this too! I think it would go good weather it was girl or a boy! And that mobile is so cute and looks so easy to make!

I love the hanging lanterns and would love to get either pink or blue and I would also like to get some for Hayden's room! Adds alot to a room!

I am in love with this headboard!! And I would love to make it for Hayden when he is older (if he is still into hockey as much as he is now).

Like I said before I am very excited to start the nursery and I really hope that it won't be overwhelming! Now, we just need to go to the thrift store to find some furniture treasures! My favorite store!

First Pregnancy Post- 15 weeks!

Size of Baby:

According to a couple of books that I am following the baby 12 cm crown to rump, and it's weight is 4.5 ounces!

My Body:

I haven't felt to sick with this pregnancy (not like it was with Hayden). I have had morning sickness every morning which sometimes gets worse as the day goes on, but I try to ignore it. It is hard to be sick when you have a VERY active toddler! I have noticed that my legs are kinda achy all the time, but I don't really know if that is all pregnacy related or just sore from running around all day. One thing that I have noticed with this pregnancy is that I am SO emotional! I cry over EVERYTHING! Weather it is the X FACTOR, or some TLC show, Criminal Minds, movies, if it has any tinge of sadness or happiness I will be in tears! Poor Adrian! I the beginning of I had to deal with high blood pressure again ( same thing happened with Hayden). The doctor figured that it had to do with my hormones because my last couple of physicals my blood pressure was good. I took a blood pressure machine home and monitered it for 2 weeks every day, three times a day, really annoying! I went back last Friday and all my measurements were good so I HOPEFULLY will not have to do that again! Another thing that I notice more with this pregnancy is pelvis pain! NOT FUN! But my doctor told me I can take tylenol, which has been helping alot! I thought I was having a miscarriage, but the doctor heard the baby's heartbeat and said that it was normal and she will keep an eye on it! I remember having a little with Hayden but like this, I always feel like I am pulling muscles down there! Anyways, other then that I have no complaints!

Cravings:

I haven't had any crazy cravings yet! So far, just cereal like Honey Nut cheerios! And I cannot drink tap water! I cannot handle the smell of Arborg water, smells like city water! GROSS, I only drink bottled or filtered!

Movement:

I thought I felt the baby move the other day, well more like a flutter, but I am not sure! Ever since Hayden I have this "phantom baby" movements, where I think I feel something but in reality its just my imagnation! But the other day I pretty sure I felt something because it was lower!

The Inside Story:

- The baby is starting to make faces! Reasons it is doing it is because it discovering her/his developing muscles on it's face! ( we dont know what we are having, and we will not be finding out so don't jump to conclusions if I say he or she! :) ). It is developing the lanugo which is the fune hair that protects it's skin when it is in the womb. ( I hate calling the baby a it!) It's skeleton is starting to harden but will stay flexible that way it can make it's way through the birth canal! It's ears are in position, he/she can make fists and points thier toes as well! Very exciting!

I am super pumped to be having another baby, but in all honesty I am super scared and nervous for the labor and delivery, Hayden was NOT easy and SO long! I have already started praying the God will take away those nerves and bless me with a super easy delivery! And if not, then prepare for what is to come! If you are reading this, and you think of this then keep us in your prayers bacause we both have crazy nerves when it comes to the delivery! At first when I found out I was pregnant I was very excited but at the same time so scared I think after the excitement died off, I cried a very good cry! I wish all the bad memories from that would be gone, but no I have not forgotten! I remember every detail and can sometimes still feel the pain! But then I think to myself, women have been doing this for thousands of years, and God created us for this, I can do it again! WE can do it again! :)

Three becomes four!

Hayden is going to be a big brother!!
Yes that is right Adrian and I are expecting our second child and we cannot be more thrilled!
We are due in May! We decided that we will not be telling much people the actual day because with Hayden it always changed and was annoying! So, for this one we are due in May and that is all!

With Hayden I did not have the Internet so I could not blog about the pregnancy, I didn't even have this blog yet. But with this baby I plan on doing weekly blog updates on the pregnancy! I am very excited about this! I LOVE reading other pregnancy blogs and find it very fascinating!

I think I may even do my first one tonight!

shirt that I made Hayden to wear to church! It was fun!

Halloween 2012!

It has been a LONG time since I updated the blog! So, I am feeling kinda overwhelmed because alot has been happening!

First, I will start with Halloween and what Hayden was!
Hayden was YODA from Star Wars!
We also carved pumpkins! This was Hayden's first time carving pumpkins!
He was more in the knives then the guts, he refused to stick his hand in the pumpkin which is kinda weird for a boy!
I thought he would be so dirty after, but no!

Halloween was alot of fun this year!
Hayden was old enough that he kinda knew what was going on!

HARRY POTTER!!!! Adrian used his mad skills!

Hayden's first pumpkin!

Hayden checking out the "apples". He calls pumpkins, apples!

His stash!
