you are my sunshine...

Just LOOK at these two! They are the most sweetest, lovable, sometimes annoying boys! Being a stay home mom is HARD, seriously the most challenging job I have ever done. But just looking at these two little faces takes all my stress and worry away. They seriously are the rays of sunshine to my day. Thank you Jesus.

Potty Training.

Its exhausting, disgusting, funny and rewarding!

I tried to potty train Hayden before William was born but it did NOT work. He was not interested and just not ready for it. So I waited. And a few weeks ago I gave it another try, and its going alot better. Yes, I am aware that he is almost three, and some kids are trained by the time they are two. But honestly every kid is different and I waited till he was ready, instead of forcing him and traumatizing him! Good for the mothers that have their children potty trained by the time they are two!

Instead of screaming and fighting, he now tells me when he has to pee. And if he has a accident (as annoying it is), its okay and not the end of the world. We have two charts on the wall in the bathroom. One says "I went pee", and the other says "I went poop". And every time he goes pee he gets a sticker, and when he goes poop he also gets a sticker. Once he has thirty stickers on one chart, he gets a toy! He has only gone poop once on the toilet ( the laundry never ends). But he has gone pee multiple times, and has already gotten one toy.  We will stop this system, once he gets it more down pact. He loves it.  I am very proud of him. Its always a dance party in our house when he goes pee on the toilet, tons of fun!

The only picture I got with his GITCH, you should hear him say it SO FUNNY! I just threw his paper airplane, that's why his arm is blurry and weird.

William - 6 MONTHS!

William is HALF A YEAR OLD! CRAY, CRAY! The past six months has been such a whirl wind. Having two kids is alot harder then just having the one. It's harder to get out, I feel like I do not sit during the day, I forget to eat, I forget to drink water, the laundry never ends, and I NEVER go to the bathroom alone! But honestly I LOVE it. I have always wanted to be a stay at home mom, and I wouldn't trade that dream for anything. Seriously.

Weight: William is 20 POUNDS! The nurse thought that something was wrong with the scale, so she weighed him twice. He is average for his height ( which I forgot AGAIN!) but weight he is off the charts. Lets just say, he LOVES to eat!

Food he likes: Prunes, blueberries, apples, oatmeal, squash, carrots, broccoli, sweet potato, peas, avocado and anything Hayden will feed him!

Food he dislikes: Pears, peaches, and chicken. I mix that with other things, he'll never know! And this past week I have noticed that he is not a big fan of his bottle anymore. I guess he rather have solid food, what a man! He does have it before bedtime and nap time though.

He rolls around like CRAZY. You cannot leave him on the bed or anything high for a split second, he's fast! He does the crawling motions, he can scoot backwards but he does not have the whole forward motion down pact yet. He LOVES books, and toys in general. He also loves Hayden, even though he's been hit, stepped on by him SO much!

Having two boys is SO much fun! I seriously look forward to the day where he is walking, and talking. I really pray that one day Hayden and William will be best friends. I know they will fight, I am kinda looking forward to that to. I am sure we will have lots of laughs.

They play all day, everyday!

And yup! Hayden tackling William, and he is laughing.
Do not worry, I saved him after I was done taking the picture!!

I would say he is sitting on his own, but he gets so excited when he plays that he flings himself back. That is the reason why I still put pillows behind him!
