I Wish...

the the laundry, cleaning and packing would do themselves! If that makes any sense!

We are getting ready for a weekend away. We are to the Grand Forks for the weekend with my Friesen Family! I am so excited! We have been saving our money for the last 3 months or so, and I cannot wait to go shopping for myself! Finally I get to buy some clothes, and not just diapers, and formula! :)

I will NOT forget my camera, like I did last weekend!

I love going on these little trips, when you have a child, the packing and laundry and things you need to remember to bring can be so TIRING and STRESSFUL! But at the same time, it is so much fun! Go figure that out!

We are leaving early tomorrow morning because from our house it is a 4 hour and 48 mintue drive! JOY!

We are packing a picnic lunch and planning to find a park on the way and have a picnic, and give Hayden some time to stretch his legs. I hope he does good, he usually does do good on long car drives, but this will be the longest we go with him. Well, we went last year, but he was 2 months old, and he slept the whole way! This time I think will be a little different.

Some of my items that I will be looking for this weekend is:

Summer dresses

A bag/purse, I want one big enough to put Hayden's stuff in as well, I am getting kinda tired of carrying a diaper bag AND a purse around.

Jean Jacket, I have a dress that I think would look really nice with a jean jacket.

Shoes, and sandals!

and other things that are just nessescities!

Adrian is getting some dress shirts, and pants, and a sweater!! He isn't really into the whole shopping thing, he can't wait to sit around, watch hockey, soak in the hot tub! Oh, he is also getting a set of weights! He has been working out lately, like running, walking, and biking, now he just needs weights to build his muscles! I love his dedication!

Hayden doesn't really need anything, he has so much clothes and toys, it is INSANE!

But I think I will get him a new summer hat, his old one is a little to small, and maybe some new slippers. He has a couple of pairs of slippers, but they are to big, he doesn't have any for the size he is now, so we will get him a pair, then maybe if I find something cute!

And that is about it!

I should really get back to packing and laundry! BLAH!

But it NEEDS to be done!
